Usually in school holidays we have a Learn2Row session for school age children over 12 years of age and who can swim 100m. After completing the program we then graduate rowers to our junior development program and our accredited coaches, progresses the rowers on a weekly basis. This year two of our 2024 crop competed at the Sydney International Regatta Centre in both single sculls and a double scull.
Our next seeing is planned for April 2025.
We also now have Active Kids Accreditation so if you want to use your voucher please email Secretary@shoalhavenrowing.com you voucher number and only pay $50. If you don’t have a voucher the price is $100.

There is a category for School Holiday Program and a waiver form but if you go to RowingNSW website there is a category in their membership which is free and if you sign on you get Accident Insurance for the 2 days of the School Rowing. Use the Come and Try category.

Make sure you bring a change of clothes and a towel to the days and a pair of thongs or croc like shoes. You will be carrying boats into the water and across gravel pavements. Tight fitting clothes, shorts or short bike type pants are ideal and please bring suncream and a hat.
